The Holiday Season is here!

I absolutely love Christmas and the holiday season! I look forward to the day after Thanksgiving when it is finally appropriate to listen to Christmas music all the time :). Since I will be on a break from school soon I hope to have lots of new photos to share in the next few weeks from the holidays! In the meantime, here is one from last year to get you in the spirit!

I had the chance to photograph these beautiful girls a few weeks ago. They were so fun and full of life. You can see how much their personalities stand out in their photos.

Here Come the Irish!

I finally had a chance to get out this Sunday and take a few photos of the gorgeous Notre Dame campus. If you have never been here, I recommend adding it to your list of places to visit. It is an incredibly powerful place. I snapped a few photos on this gorgeous fall day.

I had the chance to photograph this beautiful family back in August as a surprise gift for the dad. They are such a photogenic family that I had trouble picking which photos to share. Here are a few from the photo shoot!

Ben's Chili Bowl... A DC staple :)

So as I am sitting here in the midwest I have been missing DC. Brian went with my to photograph a jazz band at Bohemian caverns and we of course stopped at Ben's Chili Bowl on the way home for some chili cheese fries... yum! I snapped this photo inside.

Welcome Collier Elizabeth Richards!

Catherine and Brian welcomed into the world Collier Elizabeth Richards in July. I got to meet their sweet girl last week and would not miss the chance to snap a few photos her!

Blackburn/Coogen/Sellers Families!

There have been many happenings in Blackburn/Coogen/Sellers Families over the last few weeks! Both Lyla and Ryan turn 1! I cannot believe a year has gone by already! They are growing so fast and moving around like crazy and getting into everything! Here are some highlights of these sweet babies...

Costa Rica!

I am back and recovered from Costa Rica. It was an awesome trip! We did a lot -- kayaking, rafting, horseback riding, ziplining through the rainforest, and snorkling. We were in the towns of La Fortuna, Monteverde, and Samara. Here are a few of my favorite photos from the trip:

We went to a restaurant and the owner's dog had just give birth to 4 puppies! I couldn't get enough... they were SO cute and little!

Tom and Mary's wedding

Tom and Mary got married this past weekend and asked me to be their photographer! I was honored. They are such a wonderful couple and were so much fun to shoot. Their ceremony was at the Walter Reed Chapel -- Mary's family, the Mologne's, have left a wonderful legacy at Walter Reed so this was a very special place for Tom and Mary. The reception followed at the beautiful Strathmore Mansion in Bethesda. Fortunately the rain held off for their day! I am still editing through some photos but here are a few teasers from Saturday.
